We all are familiar with Angel Reese’s dominance on the court and the ‘Barbie’ effect she maintains off the court. She has a unique style that she embraces with confidence that radiates her true beauty. There have been instances when she showcased her flawless charm in makeup-free selfies on social media. However, this time, she is trying to put some makeup on her new coach, Teresa Weatherspoon. Let’s take a look at what Coach Weatherspoon has to say about this.
Reese’s approach to beauty is a derivative of how her grandmother used to do it. She would play and always emphasized looking good on the court. Similarly, ‘Bayou Barbie’ wears lashes with a little bit of makeup while she is blazing on the court. Reese abides by her grandmother’s advice as she remains true to herself no matter what. Not only that, she keeps passing on makeup advice to people around her and her latest victim was her coach.

Angel Reese insists Coach T to put on blush
Being seated alongside the Chicago Sky’s head coach, Angel Reese engaged in an online interview, describing her experience so far in the WNBA. As the interview picked up a little pace, a reporter asked Weatherspoon about her skin care regimen as she doesn’t seem to age.

Listening to this, Weatherspoon laughed, saying, “Crazy you just said that,” and then she pointed her finger towards Reese, saying, “because this one was wanting me to put a little makeup on today. I was like nah Natural Beauty. No, I appreciate it, I’m just, I really put nothing in my face at all, nothing at all. So, I appreciate you, it makes me feel good.”
On the other hand, Angel is a huge makeup and beauty buff. Boasting a NIL worth more than $1.8 million, Reese is an ambassador for Mielle Organics, which is a hair care brand for textured hair. Reese has been using these products since her childhood.
Besides the brand, Reese has other go-to beauty essentials that help her maintain that flawless look. Interestingly, associated with makeup, there is another side to her sporty personality.

If not basketball, then it’s modeling
It’s not a secret that Angel Reese loves to pose whenever there is a lens looking at her. She has often openly expressed that if it wasn’t for basketball, she would have opted for modeling as a secondary career. Last year, she modeled for the Sports Illustrated 2023 Summer swimsuit collection.
It was her 22nd birthday recently, and she had a rather creative idea regarding celebrations. She boarded a private jet, got dressed, and headed to this year’s Met Gala. “I’m super excited and just taking it all in. Everyone always looks so amazing, and I’ve been dreaming of this moment for so long. Today is also my birthday, so being here on my 22nd birthday is surreal,” Reese told Vogue magazine while in transit to the Gala.

Reese looked like an ethereal beauty in mint green, donning a custom look, ‘Wake’ from 16Arlington, which was given to her by Vogue’s Naomi Elizee. “Marco and his team at 16Arlington are incredible. From the moment Naomi shared the initial sketch of the dress with me, I knew it was the one,” said Reese describing her joy for her special day.
The beautiful ensemble ‘carries the meaning of a reawakening and a stepping out into a new world with a set of new circumstances’ as coined by 16Arlington’s creative director, Marco Capaldo.
