One photo of Gymnast Suni Lee and NBA star Devin Booker had people drawing multiple theories. The rumor mill would later extend to include his teammate, Kevin Durant, and the Chicago Sky rookie, Angel Reese.

The Sky forward was not part of the Olympics but went in as a spectator. In one such photo, she was sitting alongside Kevin Durant, her friend, and Stephen Curry. That was quick to gain traction, spewing up the dating rumors. Speaking about it on her podcast, Angel Reese spilled the hot tea on the entire situation. “No, that was never a thing. I don’t even know how that even became a thing.” She continued by stating KD was and is her favorite player, in part because they both hail from the DMV area, but there is no truth in any romantic connection.

“I love his mom, she comes out and supports the games. So yeah, that (the rumor) was dead,” she said on Unapologetically Angel. Reese and Wanda Durant, Kevin Durant’s mother, did meet in June, during a match against the Washington Mystics. So with that shutdown, her podcast co-host, Maya Moore went on to ask about future rumors and how seriously should they be taken.

They shouldn’t be believed “95% of the time,” Chi-Town Barbie replies. Stating that if she is spotted with someone, there is a high chance of them being just friends — something that has been proven over the past couple of months.

While she cleared up the G-Herbo rumor stating they were just friends, Reese did not touch upon Duren. Could that be the 5% she set aside?
