Angel Reese shows a tough character amid turbulent times! WNBA rookie sensation hasn’t had an easy run right from her NCAA period. Right from her tussle with Caitlin Clark, the 22-year-old has managed to hit the headlines often. However, the latest controversy surrounding the New Year isn’t Reese’s fault but she took a step back to protect herself. Nevertheless, right when everyone thought she wouldn’t return anytime soon, the Chicago Sky star came out all guns blazing.
Unfortunately, even in the 21st century, it seems like we’re living in a man’s world. Before you guess why I made this statement, let me reveal the unfair treatment that Reese recently faced. During the 2025 New Year celebration, the star baller’s outfit and fashion choice turned into a debate. The keyboard warriors swarmed the star’s social media handle with unprecedented criticism, forcing her to deactivate her IG profile.
While in most cases, we have witnessed the celebrities go under the radar without reacting to any of the hate, here Angel Reese made a massive reaction, after she decided to get off the handle. Truly an unpleasant sight! Even though the hate might have forced her to quit the platform it didn’t stop her from moving ahead, as she recently came out all guns blazing for the Unrivaled Basketball’s jersey launch.

Reese said, “Being able to be in Miami from January to March, not having to go overseas… Nobody wants to go overseas… Being able to make six figures within three months… Being able to be housed in Miami, just being able to get better, being able to know two great players that are starting something, I think it’s amazing.” Not only, we may also witness WNBA rivals carried forward into the 3×3 league, making it more exciting for the fans.
