Angel Reese’s fans might be in for a bigger surprise than any. For some time now, the Chicago Sky rookie has been calling her stans by one of the most favorite candies in America- “Reese’s Pieces.” Seems like the name is going to get official now as her links with the $37 Billion company get even more solidified by the star herself.

The LSU alum came online tonight to give her fans a one-on-one session on Instagram Live. During the conversation, she read one fan’s suggestion on what she should go for if her endorsement deal successfully came through. Consequently, she responded, “A pink Reese’s? Ooh that would be fun! Like for Valentine’s Day? That would be fiiiiire!”

Hershey’s Reese’s product is one of their bestselling items so far. It contributes to a whopping $2 billion in annual sales through its various versions. While it is already a beloved candy and chocolate throughout the country, there is no denying that its crossover with one of the most popular WNBA rookies will only boost its value.

However, this conversation on Instagram Live was not the only way how the Baltimore native directed her connection to the brand. In fact, for quite some time now, she has dropped various hints to draw attention to the rather secret progressing deal.

The Bayou Barbie has not confirmed any relation to Hershey so far. Interestingly, she has not denied any either. If anything, she has repeatedly shown her interest in the brand’s attention. To begin with, of course, she tagged her followers as Reese’s pieces. The name not only makes sense in every possible way but is a smart way of hinting at what might be coming soon.

Late in June, the Sky rookie called out her fans on X, asking them, “Reese’s pieces where yall at?????” Surprisingly, amongst the basketball fans was the official account of REESE’S responding to the professional basketball player. They commented, “Where are we? Just following our favorite player.” The cheeky response got even more so by the image attached. REESE’S made one of their candies wear Angel Reese’s signature headband.

The following day, Marvin Baroota, Chicago’s custom designer, revealed ‘Reese’s pieces themed’ cleats for the Chi-Town Barbie as well. Recently, we have also seen the 22-year-old forward share the care package she received from the company on her Instagram story.

While the endorsement deal is probably not inked yet, we can surely believe the good news is on its way. Until then, while the New York Liberty broke the rookie’s 15-game double-double streak, we’re sure she will “rebound” back to her form.
