In the opening week of the 2024 WNBA season, Aliyah Boston gave everyone a warning that she was lifting some serious weights. Looks like she has also pushed Caitlin Clark into the gym now that the Indiana Fever can finally have some resting days. However, more than a workout session, the dynamic duo of the youngest team in the league has turned the same into a comedy class. Result? Fans are absolutely loving their content.
The first overall pick last year, Aliyah Boston, recently shared a workout vlog. Therein, she and Caitlin Clark were seen engaging in some pregame workout. But more than the exercises, they are hilariously commenting on each other’s efforts. The official Instagram account of the espnW reshared the same with the caption, “Aliyah with the pregame lift vlogs 😂🔥”
The forward for Indiana hypes up Caitlin Clark as she hits some quick deadlifts. She says, “Okay speed!” Later, she again comments on the No. 22’s chest presses, “Oh she is strooong!” The extrovert golden rookie returns the favor when Boston is doing leg curls using a sort of DIY contraption of an exercise ball and a stretch band. She goes, “What are we doing here? Not sure what they are. Not sure what it’s doing. Yeah yeah whatever, hamstring curls I guess.” Boston ends the clip by announcing, “Okay, you’re actually strong. Whaaat?!”

Katie Lou Samuelson also makes some cameos in the video with her twirling. The veteran also joined Boston for a duet on “Gotta go my own way” from High School Musical 2 as they sang, “What about me? What am I supposed to do?” Whether the muscles were built or not may be questionable from this vlog, but their chemistry surely did. It also had the fans laughing out loud.
Fans pool up to see Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston’s funny candid content
Everyone has seen how amazing the duo of Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston is performing on the floor. But outside of the lines, we rarely see the two together. Until this video that the former Gamecock posted. Hence, watching them enjoy their practice sessions like this has made the fans love them even more.
One fan mentioned their growing chemistry. Just the previous week, their head coach Christie Sides was filled with pride. Apparently, the two are being compared to Diana Taurasi and Brittney Griner’s post-guard combo. So, it is safe to say that they are climbing up the ladders in every way in the league, especially when it comes to their bond.

Have an interesting take?
“The chemistry between these 2 is the making of a chip run.”
A Fever follower shared how much they love seeing these two back-to-back lottery picks. They also suggested that Boston is like Caitlin Clark’s big sister. We have seen the reigning Rookie of the Year help the current rookie on multiple occasions. Their video from the tunnel where Clark was seemingly frustrated about something and the forward tried to calm her down went viral. Over the season, we have seen CC request the pressers ask questions to Boston and the latter has helped the Des Moines native feel comfortable over turnover questions. Certainly, a familial bond!
“Aliyah is like CC’s protective big sister. It’s so much fun watching these two!”
The two also brought in some Liberty fans in the comment section. Still, when it comes to the chemistry, Boston and Clark win the spot. While Sabrina Ionescu recently opened up on the team’s camaraderie, for these two to be compared to one of the best teams in the league is certainly applauding. The fan also mentioned how these two will be a force to reckon with in the league in the next few years. Surely, watching Caitlin Clark feed most of her passes to the No. 7 and her completing the runs is a game worth watching.
“I’m a Liberty fan but love their chemistry. Aliyah and Caitlin will be a force in the W for a few years. Candid content is what I love to see from my favorite sport teams.”
There was no way that the comment section would not include anything on Caitlin Clark. Laughing at the rookie, one fan mentioned her flexing at the beginning and end of the video. While not a lot of muscular mass there, she sure had some cuts.
“I love how clark just be flexin like “YEAH IM THE ONE””
And of course, the karaoke stint also made the comments. A fan came in to give their honest opinions on the vlog and suggested that the future for this team may be bright, but their singing will not see better days. If the past is any lesson, teams that have picked back-to-back first-overall draftees have won the championship in the next 4 years.
Apart from Caitlin Clark and Boston, the team truly has some great players. Kelsey Mitchell is in the top players for their ppg in the league and NaLyssa Smith is in rebounding. Katie Lou Samuelson, Lexie Hull, and Temi Fagbenle have also displayed their potential coming off the bench in Fever’s games so far. But we certainly cannot say anything about the singing.
“I love this lol you all play great basketball. but not so much in the singing department lol. but yes keep working hard and staying healthy and happy! I see great things for this team in the next year or two.”

The rookie Caitlin Clark is slowly winning over the league. But seeing that she is also getting comfortable with her teammates is simply a gem! Next, Indiana will fly to the capital as they take on the Washington Mystics. The matchup will be their second meeting of the season. If the Fever wins this game, they will make their playoff contention a little stronger.
