Sabrina Ionescu is ending 2023 with a bag of big feats. Apart from her Nike sneakers, the year saw her courting some massive moments. But it was her fangirl avatar that made this shooting star as a sentimental sportsperson. The champ made regular court appearances as a cheerleader for her distant beau.
Relationships are getting a new definition as many athletes work their way through long-distance ones as half of their time is invested in their sports career. For instance, the Olympic gold medalist gymnast Simone Biles is married to Jonathan Owens, a professional football player. They got married in April 2023, and have been in long-distance since then. Similarly, WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu and her fiance Hroniss Grasu are also working out their relationship in this fashion.

The couple is managing their long-distance relationship quite well. It is often seen that one of them is always sitting on the sidelines cheering and supporting when the other one is playing out there on the court/field.
Both Sabrina and Hroniss share a common background. This is a major factor between them as it helps them to understand the demands and challenges of each other’s sport. While it is important to dedicate their time to their professional sport, a good communication flow also goes hand in hand with managing things.
Occasionally, Sabrina shares pictures on social media of them spending time together. This indicates how they both stay in touch and take some time out for each other despite being far away for work.
Interestingly, the couple has been spending plenty of activities together, especially after getting engaged in 2023, including an engagement party and giving customized Beats headphones to the Oregon Ducks football team at their alma mater.
However, there are many things that have been falling in place for both of them to be together.
