WNBA witnessed some super action last year. The teams came raging toward each other and looked like the finals were an inevitable super-match. Hence, when everyone called A’ja Wilson’s Las Vegas Aces a super-team, no one was surprised. Now in the recent free agency trades, Seattle Storm seems to have taken everyone by surprise. By adding two of the many phenomenal players in the league, they just might be as robust as any other.

Dubbed as super-team member following Ace’s second WNBA title last year, A’ja Wilson now extends the pool by including Seattle Storm in it. Apparently, the term originated for the WNBA giants as they locked horns against each other in the finals. Now, as Seattle adds two immaculate players to its locker room, A’ja wants them to be a part of the whole super team narrative as well.

ESPN was quick to make an Instagram post out of it, captioning, “A’ja Wilson after the @seattlestorm picked up Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike in free agency.” A’ja too responded by re-sharing the same on her Instagram story. She also added captions that showed how much fun she was having by re-igniting this fire. She added, “They were quick to label us. Now it’s Seattle’s time.” She even added the chuckling emoji to add more colors to this already intriguing rainbow.

How Skylar and Nneka will transform Seattle Storm?
There is no question how amazing the new Phoenix Mercury’s guard Skylar Diggins-Smith and forward Nneka Ogwumike are. Evidently, both of them have represented the USA multiple times and have 5 and 4 gold medals respectively in the same. Further, Nneka was also the 2016 WNBA titleholder with LA Sparks. Currently, Skylar operates at 19.7 points per game and will bring an offensive aid to the Storm with a 5.5 assists average. At the same time, Nneka averages 19.1 points per game and brings an impressive 8.8 rebounds to the defensive front of the team.
