A’ja Wilson on the day of Victory Parade decided to make a big statement and drew everyone’s attention.
The speculation of a three-peat grew as the Aces proudly displayed their triumph. The residents of Vegas cheered up their home team, and the players acknowledged the love by signing autographs and taking pictures with them. Amid celebrations, Wilson finally broke her MVP silence.

This year’s MVP drew a mixed response. Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty was named MVP, while A’ja Wilson was named DPOY. But many believed that A’ja was the better choice. Days later, A’ja vented her rage during the Victory Parade imprinting the MVP voting on the back of her dress. The photo was shared on ESPN’s official account, with the caption, “A’ja had the MVP voting results on the back of her shirt.”

As the ESPN put a red arrow mark directly on the number, they were highly scornful of the individual who voted for her in fourth place.

When the season began, the defending champions had a weight of expectation to defend their crown. Despite adversities that Aces faced throughout the course of the league, the two things that influenced them more were the snub of A’ja Wilson’s MVP and the exit of Chelsea Gray and Kiah Stokes in the final game.
