This time around, Wilson entrusted not some renowned stylish but someone really close to her. The Ace gave a chance to her mom to get her ready before a major event.

The explosive power forward of the Las Vegas Aces is currently in New Orleans, Louisiana to take part in her book tour. However, there was another interesting development that had the fans buzzing. A’ja had her hair job done for the occasion by her mother. Wilson posted a series of stories featuring her and her mom sharing this special moment together. One of her stories had a caption that read, “They just be letting anyone do my hair now.”

This friendly conversation didn’t end there. Her next story seems to acknowledge her mother’s efforts. A’ja captioned it, “My mom did decent on my hair.” Wilson also added a video that had a hilarious banter between the two. In the video, the WNBA Finals MVP is seen saying, “I’m grateful for my mom.” However, before she could complete her sentence, her mom had a quick and quirky reply. She added, “Yeah, you should be.”

The reception and recognition that A’ja’s book ‘Dear Black Girls: How to Be True to You‘ received is truly commendable. In an attempt to let her story reach more people, Wilson paid a visit to Nola for her recent book tour. She broke the news about her trip in yet another story on her Instagram profile. It read, “Dear Black Girls Book Tour In NOLA.” Her authorial debut is also set to feature on the popular independent bookstore, Baldwin and Co.

Surely, A’ja is having a wonderful experience during her time on the court. Also, the quality time that she is spending with her near and dear ones has her fans delighted. We can’t wait and see what next she has on her mind during her most deserved break from basketball.
