Is A'ja Wilson the new face of women's basketball, or does someone else deserve that title?

Team USA progressed to the knockouts and asserted their group dominance by defeating Germany. And now, to relax in the otherwise hectic schedule, Paris had its ceremony Celebration of Basketball on Monday in which A’ja Wilson stunned with her exceptional looks.

The 27-year-old arrived at the event dressed in a silver top and cargo pants. She completed it with a matching purse and watched the balling star spread glam on the red carpet. Team USA, much like the other teams, had its own dedicated flyers and banners reflecting their Olympics’ dominance throughout the years. Moreover, Wilson proved that the women’s Olympic team does not only rock their skill but also can give celebs a run for their bills. Here’s the clip for the same.

Wilson has been having one stellar of a tournament. On Sunday, her defensive brilliance against Germany helped Team USA end the group games with a win. Things were looking to go awry in the first quarter when the Germans were leading by a 19-16 margin. However, in the next two quarters, Germany could only score 27 points combined – all thanks to Wilson, while USA made a comeback with 53 points on board. Thus, Team USA won by an 87-68 margin.

Similarly, during the outing against Belgium on Friday, Wilson hit a double-double by scoring 13 rebounds and 23 points. Much goes to her credit since she was the second-highest scorer for her team only behind Breanna Stewart who had scored 26. Team USA ended up on the winning side with an 87-74 margin.

Wilson also had a major role even in the first game against Japan when she hit the team’s highest 24 points. Backed with her performance, stunning at the celebrations, only natural fans go ga ga.
