A'ja Wilson vs. Angel Reese—Whose pregame outfit game is stronger?

When A’ja Wilson was drafted as the number one pick in the WNBA 2018 season, fans got to see the rookie evolve her style over time as she progressed in the league. The South Carolina-born expressed her fondness for Louis Vuitton since her first day in the W by carrying handbags and dressing up in the most gorgeous LV dresses. However, in the upcoming game against the Chicago Sky on Sunday, Wilson decided to switch her usual look. On the other hand, the Chicago Sky rookie, Angel Reese, amped up her style game and showed up in her most hip outfit just before the game.

Wilson was seen donning a plain white t-shirt and blue Nike sweatpants as she walked towards the arena with earphones on, setting the mood for an exciting matchup. Meanwhile, Reese won the hearts of the Sky fans with her yellow Chicago Center oversized tee and her rugged denim shorts. She also wore knee-length brown leather boots that added to her outfit game.

When Wilson was in Phoenix for the WNBA All-Star game this season, she revealed that apart from Gucci and Prada, her favorite brand is Louis Vuitton. In June, she attracted a lot of attention when she sported an LV On The Go MM handbag with the pregame outfit before the matchup against the Seattle Storm.

Even in September 2022, Wilson brought an LV handbag to the press conference during the Championship Finales series. She is so much in love with the brand that she also dropped subtle hints to LV’s creative director Pharrell Williams to just knock on her door. “I love me some Louis. My whole closet is just that, it’s so bad,” Wilson had stated. Hence, Wilson ditching LV in favor of sweatpants and tee was something that surprised all fans. Meanwhile, Reese too just like her idol doesn’t shy away from sporting LV from time to time.

Reese had made an appearance at the “Prelude to the Olympics” event at LV Foundation donning an all-white one piece with an LV scarf and LV shoulder bag that must have cost around $2,300. However, Reese didn’t only stop there. Instead, she pulled up to Vogue Magazine chief editor Dame Anna Wintour and clipped snaps with her again highlighting her love for fashion and luxury brands.
