A'ja Wilson: Is she the greatest WNBA player of our time, or is there more to come?

With the energy and charisma with which she plays, A’ja Wilson has won a million girls’ hearts. Although she couldn’t fulfill that three-peat dream for the Aces this year, her season has been nothing short of amazing. Within her first six games this regular season, Wilson had already surpassed and broken a handful of records while remaining the league’s leader for her outstanding offense.

The first player to score a thousand points in a single season, her efforts and hard work earned her a well-deserved and unanimous MVP honor, which she dedicated to all the young girls. This is the third time she has won an MVP, which placed her right beside the WNBA legends Cheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, and Lauren Jackson.

Gladly, the 2x WNBA champion, 2x Defensive Player of the Year, the 2024 WNBA MVP, and 2x Olympic gold medalist’s long-time dream has started taking its shape as the Texas A&M student-athletes see A’ja Wilson as their go-to idol for everything.
