Angel Reese is currently in recovery mode after a season-ending injury that sidelined her during the final stretch of the league’s regular season. But even in the offseason, she’s been making waves. After capturing attention with her trip to Los Angeles, a shopping spree, and hosting high-profile celebrities on her podcast, this time, she’s doing something we don’t see often—publicly acknowledging and supporting her brother in a heartfelt way.
With the NCAA season on the horizon, Angel Reese took a moment to show some love for her brother on X. She tweeted, “my brother is going to have a great year. i’m calling it now. @Reese10Julian.” Although this will be the Chicago Sky forward’s first time away from the college basketball spotlight, her brother, Julian Reese, is gearing up for his fourth season with the Maryland Terrapins.
Reese, who also spent two seasons at Maryland before transferring to the LSU Tigers in 2022, continues to cheer on her brother as he carries the family legacy forward. Angel Reese’s younger brother, Julian, is making waves of his own at the University of Maryland, where he’s a standout on the men’s basketball team. Coming off his best collegiate season yet, Julian averaged an impressive 13.7 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.9 blocks per game during his junior year.

Angel Reese’s public show of support for her brother, Julian, comes just days after he became the talk of the town. A video featuring him on Angel’s TikTok went viral, sending fans into a frenzy and generating plenty of buzz.

As Chicago Sky rookie embraces the offseason, she’s not slowing down in the spotlight. Recently, she caught everyone’s attention with a fun TikTok video featuring her and her younger brother, Julian. In the clip, Angel and Julian showcase their dance moves to Surf Curse’s catchy tune “Disco.” With the caption, “my not so little brother,” Angel playfully acknowledges how quickly her 21-year-old sibling has grown up.
Angel and Julian Reese have always shared a close bond, pushing each other to excel in sports from a young age. From those early days to now gaining national recognition, their rise has been nothing short of special. Julian Reese, standing tall at 6-foot-9, has made a name for himself on Maryland’s team, while Angel, listed at 6-foot-3, continues now dominate for the Chicago Sky.
