One such incident happened with the Las Vegas Aces? star Kelsey Plum who rejected the referee’s decision. In an extremely close call, Plum decided to express her opinion and challenge the referee.

The Las Vegas Aces’ point guard Kelsey Plum expressed her disappointment whimsically by sharing a reel on her story on Thursday. The reel was originally posted by the basketball fan?s Instagram handle Passthaball highlighting the moment when the New York Liberty?s center Jonquel Jones committed a probable foul that tripped Plum. Plum had captioned the story ?FOUL? with a laughing emoji.

As per the basketball rule book, any player who tends to stop the progress of an opponent by holding, pushing, or charging at the competitor is called for a foul. It also goes on to state that any contact initiated by the defensive player while guarding a player is illegal and shall be called a foul. However, the referee might have not called it a foul since the New York Liberty star Jonquel Jones had initiated contact through her hand with the ball while blocking inside the paints and hadn’t intended it to disbalance the Las Vegas Aces? star Kelsey Plum.

For the unversed, the New York Liberty?s center Jonquel Jones blocked the Aces? point guard Kelsey Plum. Plum was on her to score during the second quarter of Game 4 of the WNBA Championship Finals between the A?ja Wilson & Co and the Breanna Stewart-led team on Wednesday. Plum had her back facing Jones who came with a thudder and blocked the ball, dropping Plum in the process. But what happened in the Game?

For the record, the Aces conquered the second quarter by a margin of one point as the Liberty could only score 16 points. The Aces also took home the Championship title by upending the Liberty 70-69 in all the quarters combined. Meanwhile, Plum scored seven points with eight rebounds and five assists.

Thus, Kelsey Plum?s path to the ring was filled with challenges, trials, and tribulations. But the 29-year-old rose above it and proved her mettle in the heated contest.
