As the highly-anticipated third season of Unlimited Pro Basketball has returned, many WNBA stars are looking forward to showcase their talents. The league features world-class players who battle it out in a thrilling four-week competition. The ultimate goal is to claim the title of individual champion, and the level of intensity in each game is akin to that of the playoffs.

The league’s weekly redraft format and fantasy sports-like scoring system have proven effective with a fantastic collection of players, and it will continue to bring professional-level domestic basketball throughout the WNBA winter.

In addition to the established players, AU Pro Basketball has also attracted a number of notable newcomers for the upcoming season. Angel McCoughtry, a former WNBA All-Star, will be bringing her experience and skills to the league. Tiffany Mitchell, a player from the Minnesota Lynx, will also be joining AU Pro Basketball, adding depth and versatility to the roster.

Queen Egbo, a talented player from the Washington Mystics, will showcase her skills on the court, while Zia Cooke of the Sparks, Laeticia Amihere of the Dream, and Maddy Siegrist of the Wings will bring their energy and enthusiasm to the league. With this impressive lineup of players, the 2024 season of AU Pro Basketball is shaping up to be an exciting and competitive one.

During an episode of Pull Up with Myles and Owen this spring, Lexie Brown, who has been with the league since 2022, said that among the most interesting recent arrivals is Angel McCoughtry. “As the newest member of the AU family, I am beyond excited to start this journey,” said the Lynx player

Minnesota Lynx’s dominance in the league

Tiffany Mitchell, a guard with the Lynx, is one of the 25 newcomers to the league for Season 3 that were announced on Wednesday. Mitchell joins former Lynx players Angel McCoughtry, Odyssey Sims, Evina Westbrook, Lexie Brown, and Sydney Colson on the league’s 25-man roster.

The overall number of players will rise to forty in the following weeks when the games begin in February. Mitchell has been playing for teams in Europe during the first two Athletes Unlimited seasons (2023 and 2022) before joining the league for the first time in 2024.
