However, before that, their star recruit had some exciting news for the fans. Following this, she received immense love not only from the fans but also from some of her near and dear ones.
Recently, the overall No.2 WNBA draft pick took to her Instagram account to help promote the women’s division further. Seemingly, she shared a post regarding the WNBA league passes. Her post was captioned, “Got League Pass? I’m giving away 10 subscriptions to @WNBA league pass so you can support us all season long! In an instant, the small forward’s gesture started getting a welcoming reception. Everyone from her mother to her franchise thought it was a tremendous initiative. Then, it didn’t take long for the 4× NBA champion Stephen Curry to jump in and support his Godsister. He quickly shared the post in his Instagram story to provide it additional traction. “WNBA League pass,” he wrote in celebration. Anyhow, he wasn’t the only Curry who extended his support to Cameron Brink. As it turns out, his wife Ayesha Curry also had a say in this regard. She went on and posted, “Omggg” along with a heart eye emoji.

In the meantime, the 2024 Naismith Defensive Player of the Year made her first appearance as a rookie for the Sparks.
A Sparkling debut for Cameron Brink
With many eminent faces in the crowd, Cameron Brink stepped on the professional crowd against Atlanta. Unfortunately, the home team ended up on the losing side courtesy of a 92-81 scoreline. Be that as it may, Cameron Brink had a rather decent outing with the basketball in hand. She made full use of her 20 minutes on the hardwood and ended up being the third joint top scorer.

The 22-year-old recorded 11 points on a night where she was 4 of 6 in field goals and buried 2 out of her 3 beyond-the-arc attempts. In addition to this, she grabbed 2 defensive as well as offensive rebounds to cap off her defensive responsibilities which had 2 blocks as well.
Cameron Brink seems to be grooving just like the rest of the rookies. Although the fixture may not have brought her team the desired result, hardly anyone would argue that she has what it takes to turn things around. It will be interesting to witness how she helps her team make a comeback from this as the Sparks head to face their in-state rivals- Aces, soon.
