Caitlin Clark had reasons to celebrate over the last weekend. For one, back in Iowa, she saw her alma mater emerge victorious against Drake by a final score of 86-73. Secondly, and most importantly, the WNBA star’s brother Blake announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, Anna Tystahl. As expected, Caitlin couldn’t have missed it although it was once nothing but competitive between the three siblings!

There are always different sides to the same story. For instance, both her brothers — Blake and Colin — would put her in snow gear and throw water balloons at her when they were all little, at least Caitlin was. Her mother Anne, smiling, simply captioned it: “I mean, they were just awful to her.” But for Blake, it was all done in good humor, stating Caitlin asked for it instead: “But she just wanted to play with us.”

Blake, the oldest, is the “old soul” among the three, the one who is patient, listens and never shies away from giving his opinions. Be it from disbanding the two younger siblings from a bloody mess (quite literally) or reaching out to his star sister when she had a tough game to date, Blake has always been around. So, when Anna Tystahl dropped the news of her engagement to the eldest of the Clark siblings on Sunday, Caitlin was more than just happy for them!

Anna shared a series of photos on Instagram flaunting her diamond ring with the caption, “Engaged to my bestest friend!!!💍 I will love you forever, Blake Clark 🤍”

The Indiana guard quickly congratulated them both with a heartwarming comment, “I love you two 🤍 can’t wait!!” Clark was a part of their special day as she was spotted in a photo going viral on social media, where she posed with the newly engaged couple and her younger brother, Colin.

Anna was wearing the same outfit in both the posts so it can be assumed that it was an after party. Her friends and close ones too joined them for the celebration. The youngest brother Colin also posted a congratulatory message in the comment section, “Love you guys, congrats.”

Caitlin’s boyfriend Connor McCaffery, however, was absent in the pictures. For those wondering, Connor was fulfilling his duties in Indiana. The Butler Bulldogs had a game on Friday night, and as the new assistant coach, Connor had to stay with the team, which might have prevented him from joining the Clarks for the weekend.

Meanwhile, Clark wasn’t the only WNBA star to send their warm regards to Blake and Anna Tystahl.

Kate Martin, Blake’s former teammate for the Iowa State Cyclones, wrote, “Congrats❤️🥰” in the comment section while the wife of NFL quarterback Jenna Purdy also sent her wishes writing, “CONGRATS YOU GUYS!!!🤍”

So, when was Caitlin last seen with her boyfriend?

Caitlin Clark assists boyfriend Connor’s mother and brother for his debut

When the Bulldogs made Connor’s signing official, Clark told the media, “It’ll be fun to go to those games.” And there she was on the sideline on November 4th, cheering for her boyfriend during his debut against Missouri State. But that wasn’t the only time.

Just four days later, she was back at another game, this time spotted with Connor’s mother and younger brother, Jack, who had also been recruited by the team recently. Seated in the stands without any special treatment and following the scoreboard intently, the 22-year-old was in for a treat as the Butler Bulldogs triumphed over the Missouri State Bears 72-65.

On the third occasion, Clark was accompanying NBA star Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend, in the stands as all of them enjoyed the Bulldogs in action.

Caitlin Clark’s support for her boyfriend isn’t a one-way street. Connor has also been thoroughly by her side since the pair got together in April of last year. Since then Connor has been a constant attendee to Clark’s Iowa games. Connor is yet to pop the question to Caitlin, but the two remain strongly by each other’s side.
