“I love Mike,” Brady said in the latest episode of his Let’s Go! podcast. “And the fact that Mike would come out there to defend me, it means everything in the world to me as a teammate and a friend. And Mike knows how I feel about him,” the experienced superstar said, voicing his support for his teammate.
Tom Brady appreciates Evan’s presence
The seven-time Super Bowl winner said he appreciates Evans having his back. He also justified the 29-year-old for expressing his emotion. “So, in the end, emotions are a part of sports. Sometimes they boil over and they obviously did yesterday. And it’s an unfortunate circumstance. I don’t think it deserved any type of suspension. I think that’s ridiculous,” he added.
The NFL titan also hoped his friend would learn from the experience of punishment. He believes the team can move past it and get to a better place. TB12 also added Evans knows the team always has his back.
