The Wimbledon Championships have not disappointed the fans when it comes to close encounters. Marton Fucsovics and Andrey Rublev have provided a thriller of an encounter on court 2. The Russian number five seed lost to unseeded Marton Fucsovics in a five set thiller. The fourth-round battle lasted for two hours and 41 minutes.
The fourth set bagel by Fucsovics was a sign of what he brings along with him on court. Andrey Rublev lost his focus after winning the second and third set, as he lost 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, 0-6, . Marton Fucsovics his strength and power as he played perfectly timed shots.

Marton Fucsovics vs Andrey Rublev: Talking points about the game

Marton Fucsovics went up in the first game, as he won two break points. Andrey Rublev beat him 6-4, 6-4 in the next two sets to take a comfortable lead against the Hungarian. The fourth set was complete demolition as he completed a bagel against the World No.7.
In the fifth set, both players went head-to-head in a battle for a quarterfinal match with Novak Djokovic. The Hungarian played brilliant cross-court shots, which ended up being the winner. However, the Russian was not backing down as he tried to get the winners from his first serve. With a total of 32 unforced errors, Fucsovics seized his moment as he played it to Rublev’s weakness.
Fucsovics reaches his first Grand Slam quarterfinal after recording 41 winners and 27 unforced errors. He will face Novak Djokovic in the last eight of the tournament.

It was a treat for the fans at SW19, as Fucsovics showed his class on the court, enroute to the upset. The Hungarian showed his power as he recorded nine aces during his victory over the Russian.
