Felix Auger Aliassime is one of the new youngsters on the horizon. He has made quick progress on the men’s Tour. The Canadian talent is the second-youngest player to be ranked in the top 20 of the ATP rankings. He ended last season as the 17th ranked player in the world.
Felix Auger Aliassime has lately been in the headlines for his newly appointed coach. The Canadian athlete has teamed up with Toni Nadal, Spanish tennis sensation Rafael Nadal’s uncle. The 60-year-old coach has won all the honors in the game during his time with Rafa. His presence itself is an added motivation for a player.
Reflecting on his new coach, Felix stated, “I feel super privileged and lucky to have Toni in my team. Throughout my whole childhood, I remember him by the side of his nephew – he’s been around for a long time and has won everything the sport has to give as a coach so it’s extremely motivating to have him by my side.”
