Perhaps one of the biggest news in NASCAR of late is Hailie Deegan finally fulfilling her Xfinity Series dreams, holding hands with AM Racing as the driver of their #15 Ford. In her third season driving in NASCAR, Hailie has jumped three teams, and after landing a multi-year deal with AM Racing with manufacturer support from Ford, the 22-year-old speedster felt privileged.
What’s more; Airbox, Inc. and VIVA Tequila Seltzer will be her primary sponsors moving on to the 2024 season. However, she has had trouble driving for ThorSport Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and months before she enters the tracks with her new team, Hailie Deegan reveals her biggest woe, which she believes could follow her into the Xfinity Series.

When several cars run at top speed, competing for that one cherished ride down the victory lane, anything could happen. You could have everything sorted and still make a mistake which could end your day. You could have the fastest car, but someone else’s problems might gather you and ruin your winning spree. This is where experts’ advice comes in.
Richard Childress Racing driver Austin Dillon shared how he had received the able guidance of NASCAR veteran Kevin Harvick back when he won the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship in 2013. On that note, he asked Hailie Deegan if she had someone to look up to or approach for information in the top-tier racing series.
Deegan said that she was fortunate enough to have had the chance to go up to seasoned drivers like Chase Briscoe and Harrison Burton to seek information and advice on how to make crucial decisions on the track. However, that is not what bothers her the most.
The California resident has had a record of not being able to get along with other drivers on the track. Deegan said, “I would say something I’ve struggled with is getting other drivers to work with me, to be able to give me information…kind of building those relationships.”
Hailie Deegan is not wrong. If one looks back at her career in the Truck Series, one would be able to gauge that she has not had the best of relationships with most of her fellow drivers.

Hailie Deegan has had her share of on-track squabbles in the Truck Series
Hailie Deegan’s first season in the Truck Series bore her 3 DNFs, followed by 4 in 2022. While Hailie Deegan is still learning the tricks of the trade, it is perhaps safe to say that multiple drivers have contributed a lot to her poor finishes. Although she has always remained candid while describing how other drivers had wronged her from time to time, there was a time when she confronted a fellow driver for having raced her dirty.
“Everyone here just drives like a** clowns,” radioed Deegan after last year’s race at Martinsville was over. She walked up to Lawless Alan and repeated several times, “What the f**k was that?” before she walked away frustrated.
Hailie Deegan got back at the #45 Niece Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado driver at Nashville earlier this year on lap 3, 5, and lap 7, which ousted Alan from the Rackley Roofing 200. Needless to say, he did not hold back from slamming Deegan publicly.

Alan said, “She’s talentless, and just sailed it off in there and wrecked me…It’s lap, what, three? And she’s sailing it in there. I just don’t understand what the move was about. It’s not the first time she’s wrecked me. She does it to fucking everyone, so it is what it is.”
“She does it to f***ing everybody.”
