The reason behind Brewster’s popularity in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Brewster was first introduced in Wild World 16 years ago. Since then he has become an irreplaceable part of the whole Animal Crossing series. Several players who have played past titles have shared beautiful memories with him and his cafe, the Roost. Therefore, players are very excited to recreate all these memories again in New Horizons.
Other than in New Leaf, the Roost has always been a part of the museum in all titles. Players can buy a cup of coffee for 200 Bells at the Roost and after drinking a few cups of coffee, he may offer players special drinks, including Pigeon milk. In New Leaf, the Roost was introduced as a standalone building and Brewster even offered players a part-time job in the cafe.

Unfortunately, he does not offer to store the player’s Gyroids in New Leaf and it might turn out to be the same for ACNH. Interestingly, if the player drinks six coffees, he will offer the player a part-time job making coffees for villagers. Moreover, after completing eight successful orders, he gives users a bunch of awards.
These awards consist of coffee beans and sometimes Café Series furniture. Undoubtedly, Brewster’s arrival will add a lot of free content for players to enjoy; however, it won’t be enough to attract players to the game for the long run. Therefore, it would be interesting to see what developers are planning for New Horizons atthe upcoming Direct.
