WHEN DID THE TWO GET MARRIED?
The couple got married in July 2018 at a secretive ceremony in Monte Carlo. Only Plíšková’s and Hrdlička’s closest friends and family were present. Michl’s daughter Linda was also present.
The two dated for 3 years before getting engaged.
“We had it in Monaco, so you had to plan a few things, the dress and everything. For me, I just didn’t want to talk about it. I had tournaments, different schedules. That’s why for you guys it was a surprise”, Plíšková was reported as saying.
Karolína confirmed the engagement at a press conference at the 2017 US Open. She also revealed that they had been engaged since Wimbledon, something a lot of fans had suspected.

Karolína Plíšková has a twin sister, Kristýna Plíšková, who is also a tennis player. Kristýna is 2 minutes older than Karolína. Her highest world rankings have been No. 35 (singles) in 2017, and No. 51 (doubles) in 2014. Kristýna has won one singles and four doubles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as nine singles and eight doubles titles on the ITF Women’s Circuit.
