Most interesting villager personalities in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Jock

Jock villagers have one obsession, fitness, and it comes as no surprise that they love talking about it. Their outfits primarily contain tank tops and tee shirts that make them look exercise-ready at all times. They are some of the most friendly residents on the island and only despise villagers that are lazy.

The most popular Jock villagers are:

  • Jay
  • Kevin
  • Roald
  • Ribbot

Lazy

As the name suggests, Lazy villagers dislike to travel or work a lot. Instead, they tend to spend their times inside the houses, and rarely go out for fishing and bug-catching. Lazy villagers get along with everyone, thanks to their polite nature.

The most popular Lazy villagers are:

  • Walker
  • Punchy
  • Ozzie
  • Lucky

Normal

Unlike other villagers on this list, Normal villagers do not have any obsessions or biases in life. They manage their time for almost all activities inside and outside of the house. Accordingly, they wear a wide variety of clothes and can be friends with any other Villager type.

The most popular Normal villagers are:

  • Goldie
  • Molly
  • Merengue
  • Fauna

Uchi

At the moment, Uchi is the rarest personality type in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Uchi means big sister in Japanese, which perfectly describes the villagers of this personality. They are the most caring and often express their love by sharing things. The only personalities that can annoy an Uchi villager are Cranky and Snooty.

The most popular Uchi villagers are:

  • Mira
  • Cherry
  • Shari
  • Phoebe

Peppy

Peppy villagers stand out among others owing to their obsession with cleaning. They’re largely neutral about things, but have a tendency to overexpress themselves. This explains the constant smile on their face, and the shiny bright clothes they war.

The most popular Peppy villagers are:

  • Cherri
  • Pompom
  • Chrissy
  • Peggy
