John McEnroe On Steroid Use
John McEnroe was one of the greatest players of all time. He did get into controversies but no one suspected any steroid use. Even John McEnroe did not know about this as he said,
“For six years I was unaware I was being given a form of steroid of the legal kind they used to give horses until they
decided it was too strong even for horses. People have to become more aware of what they putting into their bodies.”
I am sure John McEnroe would have been shocked when he found about this. He would have had to deal with the possibility that he did not win titles through his own effort but because he was given some performance-enhancing drugs. And that is something no tennis player wants to go through.

One person who was shocked at the admission was American star, Andre Agassi. He said that,
“Well, you try to find the understanding in why some people choose to say the things that they do, and in reference to those specific quotes or admissions, I am not quite sure who benefits.”
Andre Agassi probably said this because he was guilty of using methamphetamine and did not know whether to reveal it or not. In the end, he revealed it and many other things in his autobiography.
