What Does an Old Lewis Hamilton Look Like?

Almost all the current F1 drivers are in the prime of their youth and the oldest driver on the grid is only 39. So, it will be difficult to imagine what they would look like when they are octogenarians. However, in 2016, for an advertisement promoting road safety for Allianz, fans got a glimpse of what Lewis Hamilton looks like as an old man. Check out the video below:

He was seen explaining to his ‘grandchildren’ about how he was a cautious driver. The narration was interspersed with footage from his races. Then, one of them called him out on his lies and then the tone changed. He told them to take risks and ‘dare to follow your instincts’. Then, he turned to the camera and said, ‘dare to follow your dreams’.

Now, it is 2018 and Lewis Hamilton has banished all thoughts of retiring from Formula One. He is currently preparing for the 2019 Formula One season and winning his 6th F1 title. However, he will have his work cut out because Ferrari will come back from their disappointing 2018 campaign, stronger. Now that the Maranello outfit have Sebastian Vettel and fresh blood in the form of Charles LeClerc, they will be hungry.

Also, the Red Bull team should not be discounted as they will surely gel with Honda. Also, with two young drivers, Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly, they will be a force to reckon with. Finally, Hamilton’s Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas has been warned to buck up, so the Finn will be compelled to put in a stronger showing.
