Patrick Mahomes and Co. are up against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in a much-awaited clash on Sunday. Ahead of the game, The Kansas City Star newspaper ran a fan opinion piece on PM15’s career. It was a letter to the editor article that called Mahomes selfish. It mentioned that the QB only cared about his looks and not his team.

This opinion invited reactions from various quarters. Several Kansas City fans clarified they have nothing to do with the content and backed Mahomes for leading the Chiefs to the NFL title. Reacting to the letter to editor article, Brittany Mahomes, wife of the NFL superstar, gave a sharp response to the argument that Mahomes is not caring enough about the game. Her response invited further reactions from passionate fans.

Patrick Mahomes is in love with Kansas City
The 27-year-old Super Bowl winner did not react to the newspaper piece. Mahomes, earlier in 2021, bought a 1950s ranch-style house in Kansas City. He said that he liked the love and affection shown by the people. The Chiefs fans also reciprocated their true love and emotions to him in the Tweets.
A fan said Mahomes is one of the classiest guys in the NFL.

Mahomes is focused on the game
In a presser, Patrick Mahomes expressed his desire to play as long as possible for the Chiefs. He said he wanted to help the team get better. PM15 also added it is hard to play until 45, while referring to the GOAT Tom Brady.

However, the star QB said that he is trying to keep his body in the best shape possible. Mahomes added he would keep playing as long as he is physically fit. Clearly, he is a man on a mission and unnerved by what others think.
