“Welcome Back”: Bayley, Ric Flair, Triple H, John Cena & Other Stars React to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s ‘Electrifying’ Return to WWE After 4 Long Years

The WWE Universe is in high spirits today. And why wouldn’t they be? Dwayne Johnson finally decided to grace the WWE ring after four long years today. The Rock kicked off tonight Friday Night SmackDown at the home of the NBA Champions Denver Nuggets where he shared a segment with Pat McAfee and Austin Theory.

When Johnson made his appearance, he received one of the loudest pops of recent times. This is how much the crowd was excited to see Johnson return to WWE. But the fans were not the only ones who were extremely happy to see Johnson back.

The WWE Universe always hoped for Johnson’s eventual return to WWE, but no one expected it to be today. Everyone thought it would be at a major Premium Live Event or a special occasion. So The Rock appearing today on the Blue Brand show definitely came as a shocker.

But the emotion that ruled many hearts and minds tonight was happiness and excitement. Big names in WWE like Bayley, Ric Flair, Triple H, John Cena, and many more reacted to Johnson’s return after four long years. He was last seen inside the WWE ring on SmackDown in 2019.

Johnson receives a warm welcome from the WWE community

Johnson’s return to WWE on SmackDown was not only well-received by fans but also by some of the top names in the Stamford-based promotion. Let’s have a look at what they had to say about The Rock returning to his old home.

Pat McAfee, who hosted The Rock on his show earlier in Colorado expressed his excitement at The Great One’s massive return.

During a backstage segment, John Cena met with Johnson and welcomed him back in WWE. The two stars even hugged each other during the segment. Bayley, playing her character, also tweeted about Johnson’s return to WWE.
