With the Daytona 500 beginning soon the NASCAR world is gearing up. As the time is coming closer, there are a lot of interviews from the finest racers surfacing on the internet. Kyle Busch, two-time Cup Series champion, had something interesting to say about Kevin Harvick who retires this year.
Recently in a YouTube Shorts video posted by ‘After the Checkered Flag’ which provides all the news from across NASCAR’s top three series. In the video, Rowdy is seen answering a question thrown at him about Happy Harvick. Talking about Harvick’s retirement he shared that he finds it the right age for him to retire. As even he has thought of retiring around the age of 45. And it’s good for him that he decided on his retirement as he has been around for a long time.

Busch highlighted that Harvick has had a lot of wins in his career including big ones. Rowdy showed his excitement for him as this will be his last run before retirement. However, he also threw in a challenge for Harvick with a smile. Busch said, “He has a remarkable career he has won championship races and all the big ones and so plenty to hang his head on I should say. So I’m excited for him to finish out his last year this year, and hopefully, he can go out there, win a couple but we will still beat him at the championship.” It will certainly be very interesting to see what happens on the tracks this year.

Since Busch’s move to , he got some time to spend with the new team and the car. Along with Tyler Reddick, he got the chance to take part in a tire test and ride the new cars before the season starts. RCR has a lot of good things to say about the team and is making sure that Busch finds it comfortable to go through the transition and feels at home. With a lot of good communication, understanding, support, and feedback the team has been aligning together. Though Busch had a tough time while leaving JGR due to a sponsor exit, it looks like RCR is definitely trying to make Busch comfortable in the new team.
