The PS5 global launch ad aspires to be ‘epic and iconic’

The PS5 global launch ad fits its theme perfectly. It shows the wide possibility of exploration on the earth, which includes oceans, mountains, and the sky. Apparently, it is a tribute to all the explorers who push their limits to reach new heights.

“The theme of the spot is centered around the idea of exploration.  There is a desire in all of us to explore and discover new possibilities, whether it’s in gaming, or in our everyday lives. We all want to go to places we’ve never been, see what’s never been seen.

“We tell the story by paying homage to explorers of the past who stood on the threshold of the unknown and pushed past their limits to achieve the extraordinary.”

Sony’s marketing has always helped in the sales of its consoles. The company has successfully maintained some of the best exclusive titles for itself. As a result, it compels fans to buy the PlayStation. Back in 2013, Sony’s PS4 was the clear winner in the console war with Microsoft’s Xbox One.

However, Microsoft’s technology-driven approach has changed the market dynamics this time. Apart from high-end specifications, the Xbox Series X and S provide unmatched subscription services. Microsoft is also acquiring Bethesda, due to which a lot of new games will be available on the Game Pass soon.
