During the second day of the ongoing third Test between India and South Africa in Ranchi, India captain Virat Kohli was seen celebrating with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja after he completed his half-century. It all took place on the third delivery of the 112th over when Jadeja took a couple of runs off South Africa spinner George Linde to reach his 13th Test fifty.
However, Jadeja was seen doing a “sword celebration” after scoring fifty. Even the captain Virat Kohli also joined Jadeja in the dressing room in celebration. Kohli was showing the gesture towards Jadeja which was riding on a horse. Having watched his captain’s support, Jadeja too continued the celebration before both of them and other players were seen laughing out loud with his gesture.
Walked in to bat at No. 6 in the 76th over, Jadeja shared a couple of important partnerships with the opener Rohit Sharma who scored a double-century (212) and wicket-keeper batsman batsman Wriddhiman Saha (24).
