Cheaters and hackers in any game are always frowned upon. Furthermore, being eliminated or losing to a hacker is all the more disappointing. Although, there comes a point when karma takes over and levels the playing field for everyone. One such moment of ‘instant karma’ was captured as a Valorant hacker got banned.

The video was posted by Twitter user Desperado who captured this moment live. He was chatting with the cheater and also mentioned that he had already reported him. In return, the hacker tried to trash-talk and convince him that he is just no good at the game.

However, things took a different turn when Desperado almost instantly got the message that a hacker he had reported got banned. Clearly, this was a huge win for Desperado as justice was served. Although, this was a bigger win for Valorant and its anti-cheat system.

Valorant seems to be doing a good job in dealing with cheaters

Cheaters and hackers have ruined the gaming experience for everyone. Popular games like CS: GO, Fortnite and Warzone have been plagued by hackers since their inception. This is where Valorant’s Vanguard needs to be appreciated, considering it is not only effective but swift as well. There were concerns about Vanguard causing problems with the gameplay, but Riot ensured that it was all sorted out very quickly.

In comparison to Valorant, Call of Duty Warzone has done very little to deal with this issue. The game is still overrun with cheaters, and Activision doesn’t seem to have a clear answer for the same. Its biggest flaw is the absence of any anti-cheat software in the game. Even though it may not be 100% effective, it still reduces rampant cheating substantially. There are rumors of Black Ops Cold War getting an anti-cheat system soon, which may even apply to Warzone.

Nevertheless, Activision can definitely learn a thing or two Riot and implement its own system soon. As for Riot Games, the studio seems to be doing a good job at keeping the hackers at bay. This doesn’t mean that the game is free of hackers, but the developers are constantly keeping tabs on such malicious activity.
