Nathan Chen flexes his football skills
Seems like Nathan Chen is not just interested in figure skating, but has some football tricks up his sleeve as well. Chen has already arrived in Beijing for the Winter Games. Surely, he will be one of the star figure skaters to watch out for.
Chen is a 3-time World Champion and is also an Olympic bronze medalist. He is the first skater to have landed five types of quadruple jumps in competition as well as eight quadruple jumps across a single competition.
Now, Chen was seen flexing his football skills while at the games. Decked in his Team US gear, he was spotted having some fun on the field.
The official Super Bowl account reposted the video of Chen ‘showing off his arm’, claiming that the “Quad King” is also a football quarterback.

Back in Pyeongchang 2018, Nathan Chen finished 5th and sadly, missed the medal. However, his performance earned massive appreciation from all around.
Chen wows with the first performance at the Winter Olympics
Nathan Chen’s return to the Winter Olympics has been marked with a stellar performance. This is in contrast to his 2018 performance, which he was clearly disappointed with.
Known as the “Quad King”, Chen landed a combo of a quadruple and triple jump with perfection in the team skating event. He then went ahead to do one of the hardest jumps in figure skating history, the quadruple lutz. Topping the chart, his final score was 111.71.
Previously, Chen has revealed that his perspective going into this Winter Olympics will be different. He will not let the pressure break him.

“I think that looking back in 2018, all I could think about was skating and not being able to, obviously, skate well. So I want to definitely be able to embrace the Games in a different way,” he said.
