Jon Jones defends his light heavyweight title against the Devastator, Dominick Reyes in the main event of UFC 247. That’s not going to be the only title fight as UFC has one more thriller planned for the fans. The flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko takes on Katlyn Chookagian in the co-main event.
Both the champions are two of the most dominant champions in UFC history. While Jon Jones has been dominating the light heavyweight division for a decade now, Shevchenko has not lost to anyone but the female GOAT, Amanda Nunes. It’s needless to say that if any new champion is crowned at UFC 247 it is going to be a huge upset.

Jon Jones vs Dominick Reyes
Jon Jones has been criticized for his last few performances. While he was unable to finish Anthony Smith, he nearly lost the fight against Thiago Santos. Skillswise Jones seems superior to Dominick Reyes. However, the world has not seen enough from Reyes yet as he goes on to challenge arguably the greatest of all time.

Reyes is on an unbeaten streak and is coming from an impressive performance against Chris Weidman. With an unbeaten record, Reyes believes he is invincible inside the octagon and he might give Jones the toughest fight of his life at UFC 247.

Valentina Shevchenko vs Katlyn Chookagian
On the other hand, one of the biggest underdog on the card, Katlyn Chookagian takes on the Bullet, Valentina Shevchenko. After the loss to Nunes in the rematch, Shevchenko has beaten all his opponents. Though Chookagain has some impressive wins in her resume whether she san overcome Shevchenko is the question that will be answered at UFC 247.
