WATCH: Sonya Deville Brutally Assaults Mandy Rose on WWE SmackDown

This week, WWE SmackDown saw the much-awaited return of the lovely couple of Otis and Mandy Rose. Unfortunately, the couple wasn’t the only two to return.

While they were preparing for a date, Mandy told Otis she wanted to get ready.

As both of them were interacting, her friend turned nemesis, Sonya Deville, was stalking them.  This rivalry started a few weeks before WrestleMania 36.

Otis and Mandy were attracted to each other and Otis asked Mandy out on a date for Valentine’s day. Rose’s then best friend was working secretly with Ziggler to keep the duo apart.

At WrestleMania 36, the truth about this whole saga was revealed in the Ziggler vs Otis match. The assist scored by the SmackDown hacker helped Mandy learn the truth and that’s when the feud started.

On the June 19th edition of SmackDown and Miz TV, Deville explained the reasons for her actions. She told Rose that all these opportunities were given to her only because of her good looks.

By all these years, Deville isn’t just talking about their run in Absolution.

For those who know Rose and Deville, they participated together on WWE Tough Enough in 2015. The anger and frustration in Sonya Deville have been built up over the years.

After almost three to five weeks on SmackDown, Deville returned. Sadly, her return wasn’t good news for Mandy Rose.

As Mandy Rose was getting ready for a date with Otis, Sonya Deville attacked from behind.

During the assault, Deville screamed that her intention was to make the Golden Goddess “as ugly on the outside as you are on the inside.” Post this brutal assault, she took things to the next level.

This action by Sonya Deville indicates one thing. SummerSlam is around the corner and there is a possibility we could see Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville face off in a hair vs hair match. It will be interesting to see how the storyline goes ahead with Otis around as well.
