Shaun White and Chloe Kim are two of the world’s best snowboarders. Both of them have performed significantly well in their careers, and have numerous accolades to their name.

While White has been in the game for much longer, Kim still has years of competing ahead of her. Hence, the Beijing Winter Olympics will be White’s last Olympic Games, but Kim’s second. However, while they are both on the same side this year, they were once rivals in an epic battle.

Shaun White and Chloe Kim engage in a crazy race

Back in 2018, Chloe Kim and Shaun White engaged in an epic battle on a Nickelodeon show, where they went up against each other in what was called the “Battle Cart Royale.”

Kim and White had their own teams, comprising famous star ice dancers Alex & Maia Shibutani, along with Knight Squad’s Amarr Wooten and Lilimar. Both the teams were determined to win, led by their star snowboarders. The show was hosted by American star dancer Jojo Siwa.

The game rules stated collecting some t-shirts and then targeting them at the audience and also hitting a bull’s eye at the end. Whoever hit the bull’s eye first would be declared the winner.

Both White and Kim had fabulous starts, but soon enough, Shaun White took the lead in the game. White and his teammate, Maia Shibutani, quickly picked up the t-shirts and started throwing them at the audience. White was the one to first nail a throw.

But in the second part of the game, things took a turn in Kim’s favor. She nailed the second hit and went ahead to hit the bull’s eye. Kim won the game, and as a result, their team member was dunked in slime!

Well, seems like White may be the more experienced snowboarder, but there’s no way he’s beating Chloe Kim outside the pipe.

History awaits for White and Kim
