While Rafa is teaming up with Stand up comedian Trevor Noah, the Swiss star is teamed up with Bill Gates for a doubles match.

In the first funny instance from the match, Trevor Noah was seen copying Rafa’s pre serve routine. Nadal is known to take a lot of time before he eventually serves. As Federer saw Trevor doing the same, he pointed that out while laughing. While Rafa was highly appreciative of Trevor’s efforts.

In fact, Trevor even copied the part where Rafa adjusts his shorts!

Another funny instance from the match occurred as Rafa got ready for his serve. Federer pointed out that the weather was windy. Rafa replied – “I’m a little bit nervous”. Roger hilariously retorted – “I can tell”.

We were able to catch all these interesting conversations as all the participants in the match up have been given a mic. That’s why whatever they say is audible to us. Obviously, the purpose is not to provide us with technical tennis action but some light-hearted moments.

However, don’t let all the fun confuse you. The match is taking place for a very serious and noble cause. All the proceeds from the match will go towards the Roger Federer Foundation. The money is expected to help in the education of South African children.
