Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal has been out of action since the French Open this year. He was over exhausted due to the strenuous clay season. He was spotted indulging himself in the game of golf, while the rest of the players were busy competing at the Wimbledon Championships.
Recently, Nadal was seen interacting with kids in his Academy. There were a number of kids who were exciting upon seeing the 13-time Roland Garros champion. All the kids present possessed tennis racquets, indicating they were tennis enthusiasts.

Rafael Nadal makes a short but memorable appearance
The kids belonged to the Rafa Nadal Foundation. They were part of the summer training camp and are taken care of by various members of the Nadal entourage. In the short clip, the youngsters start clapping when they saw the Spaniard arrive. There are many who couldn’t believe seeing Rafa and they began clicking pictures and taking videos.
Coming onto tennis, Rafa began his season in Australia and ended his stint in the quarterfinal after losing to Stefanos Tsitsipas. During that match, he was leading two sets to love before losing the next three sets. After that, he was seen directly during the clay season.

His first stop was Monte Carlo but did not manage to impress as he exited early. He won titles in Barcelona and Rome and was involved in thrilling encounters with Tsitsipas and Djokovic, respectively.

At the French Open, he was sailing smoothly until the semifinal when he met the Serb, who knocked him out in four sets. After that, the Spaniard decided to take a break from the physically taxing clay season. He decided to skip the Wimbledon Championships and the Tokyo Olympics.
He has set his sights on the US Swing and has already begun training on the hard courts. It will be interesting to see how the Spanish matador performs in North America.
