World No.1 Novak Djokovic appeared in a fun little commercial inspired by tennis. He recently became the brand ambassador of Romanian bank, Raiffeisen, and hence starred in the bank’s global television commercial. It was recently launched and had the tagline of ‘always choose the best’.

The commercial drew parallels with the way tennis players choose the best ball before service. It showed Djokovic using his tennis instincts in choosing the best in every situation. Djokovic had many options with him and chose whatever was the best according to him.

“On 20 May, two days ahead of Novak Djokovic’s 34th birthday, we released the first international commercial featuring Novak. Selecting the best ball for a strong service is a traditional tennis habit. How would you choose the best?” The bank wrote on their website.

Djokovic recently became the brand ambassador of Raiffeisen. In his statement, he revealed that Raiffeisen has partnered with him for his academy in Belgrade, Serbia. Moreover, Djokovic’s role as a brand ambassador includes media duties and appearing in selected events of the bank.

Alongside the video of the commercial, Raiffeisen also showed the behind-the-scenes footage of the commercial. The commercial was shot in Djokovic’s home in Monte Carlo and features the usual fun attitude of the Serbian.

Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova’s funny commercial

Earlier, Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova were at the forefront of the commercials for their racquet sponsors, HEAD. In the various commercials and videos released, the duo did a lot of amusing things.

They played golf tennis, and Djokovic even gave an interview imitating Sharapova. The Serbian held a wig and tried his best to imitate Sharapova’s mannerisms and sound.

Djokovic is now gearing up for French Open 2021. He is the top seed and after the recent run to the finals of the Italian Open, he will be confident of turning around his runner-up result from 2020.
