Disaster has stuck. From what would have been a perfect weekend for the youngster Charles Leclerc has all gone down the drain. He took an amazing pole from his heavily experienced teammate, Sebastian Vettel. He then lost the lead at the start but soon gained it back after a remarkable move on Bottas and Vettel.
And while he led the entire race after that, Ferrari power unit had other plans for him. On lap 48, he reported that he was losing power and rightfully so. His turbo power was cut off which meant he was overtaken by Hamilton very easily. From what it looks right now, he will be overtaken by Bottas and Verstappen right before the end of the race.

Such a tragic end to a man who drove way above his age. He might not have taken his first victory at Bahrain, but he surely will climb at the top of the podium very soon.

"Target lap time 1m38.0s," Leclerc is told, but he immediately replies, "I can't, I can't, I can't. Because by going so slow we are spending a lot of time on the straights." #F1

As for his teammate, Sebastian Vettel, Bahrain, we hope will be an eye opener. What an utterly chaotic race he has had.
