During the first game of the ongoing Deodhar Trophy between India A and India B in Ranchi, Krishnappa Gowtham, the India B all-rounder played a stunning cameo to help his team to put up a total of 302 for 6 in their allotted 50 overs.
Came in to bat at No. 7 in the 48th over, Karnataka all-rounder?Krishnappa Gowtham smashed an unbeaten 19 off 8 with the help of a boundary and two sixes in a well-made 37-run partnership along with another all-rounder Vijay Shankar who scored 26.
However, on the penultimate delivery of the penultimate over Gowtham scooped India A bowler Siddarth Kaul for a maximum over third-man. Although he wanted to play the shot towards the fine-leg at first, he adjusted the bat according to the line of the ball and it ended up landing in the stand. Kaul, on the other hand, had a pretty bad show with the ball as he conceded 77 runs for a wicket in his 10 overs yesterday.
