UFC Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has posted a video that sees him vigorously training with teammate, Zubaira Tukhugov. ‘The Eagle’ has been seen constantly staying in shape as he is set to unify the 155-pound title against Justin Gaethje. The interim champion has certainly earned his seat at the table.
The organization is yet to announce details regarding the booking of the fight. Many speculate that a September return is eminent for the champion.

There were questions surrounding Khabib’s training frequency after news broke of his father being severely ill. Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov has been involved in training the UFC champion ever since he was young. Given the serious nature of his illness, the training schedule Khabib would follow was unknown.
Abdulmanap tested positive for the coronavirus and has been under extensive care in Russia. Reports suggest that other pre-existing conditions have heightened the malady. Legions of fans reached out in support when Khabib broke the news.
