The Indian team is currently playing against one of the strongest sides in the world cricket – Australia. While Virat Kohli led India won the last game in the ICC World Cup last year in England, it was Aaron Finch-led Australia who registered a comfortable win by 3-2 over India after losing the first two games.

Surprisingly, India lost the first ODI of the three-match series in Mumbai on January 14. The remaining two matches will take place on Jan 17 and Jan 19 respectively. However, ahead of the first game people witnessed the practice session between speedster Jasprit Bumrah and captain Virat Kohli. Both the key players of India got into a tough duel which ended up Kohli’s dismissal off Bumrah.

“Well, Bumrah is playing with the team for last four years now, and this is probably the second time I have ever got out in the net, hitting a few against him and not getting out. I’m glad that was the last ball of my net session because he ran back to his mark, but I got out. It’s fun sort of competition, he’s according to me the most skillful bowler and to play against him, he brings match intensity at the nets,” Kohli said during the press conference.

Moreover, Kohli praised the bowler and also mentioned that Bumrah does not afraid of hitting the batsmen on their heads and body during practise sessions as well. On the other hand, Kohli also referred to India and Australia are the top two sides in the world.

With David Warner and Steve Smith’s inclusion, Australia have become a way too strong side to take on any side in the game. After returning from one year ban, both Warner and Smith started well. While Warner showed his class in the Indian Premier League and ICC World Cup last year, Smith was fabulous during the Ashes.

Keeping their current form in mind, both the team will try their level best to win the series at home.
