World No.1 Rafael Nadal made the Christmas better for a grandma though not with his personal presence. That being the case, how did the Spaniard make the day for his old fan without even knowing?
A grandma who is a Rafael Nadal fan was presented with a cardboard cutout of the World No.1 on Christmas. It was certainly one of the happiest moments for the old lady to see Nadal’s model in front of her.

Best Christmas gift ever
The daughter-in-law of the granny wrote on Twitter: “My mother-in-law (aka grandma) received the best Christmas gift ever. Rafael Nadal is her favourite tennis player and love of her life. Her reaction was priceless.”
After receiving Nadal’s standee, the grey-haired fan first looked at the Mallorcan before hugging the cutout out of love. She also posed with the 19-time Grand Slam champion’s bystander with her hands on him.

Rafael Nadal successful 2019 season
Rafael Nadal enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career in the ATP Calendar 2019. The 33-year-old claimed four titles in the 2019 season including the French Open 2019 and US Open 2019.
The 33-year-old proved that he is still a top contender to win Grand Slam titles as this year he made the final at each Major except Wimbledon. The Balearic’s campaign came to an end in the semifinal of the Championships.

Losing the Australian Open final to Novak Djokovic at the beginning of the year didn’t affect Nadal at all. He recovered from it by winning two of the next three Grand Slams played.
On the other hand, Nadal also helped Team Europe clinch the Laver Cup 2019 title. Furthermore, he claimed two non-ATP titles at the Davis Cup 2019 in November and the Mubadala Tennis Championships 2019 in December.
