The Los Angeles Lakers take on the road looking for their fourth win in a row. However, the Minnesota Timberwolves have other plans as they lead at the halfway mark. The Wolves came out swinging since the opening whistle and have kept their momentum. Moreover, Patrick Beverley is back with his antics as he got a technical foul for taunting Rajon Rondo.

Beverley has been a controversial face in the league. Not only is he a ruthless defender, but he loves to disrupt the opposition. Taunts, trash-talking, and conflicts are common with him on the floor. However, he has an extra chip when going up against the Lakers.

Patrick Beverley continues to go at the Lakers

Being a former Clipper, the city rivalry has not escaped Beverley yet. He continues to take any chance to hit back at the Lake show. So with the Timberwolves going at the purple and gold, Beverley got his match with Rajon Rondo. He toyed with the veteran guard in the paint and scored right on him. After that, he addressed him with the ‘too small’ gesture and got a technical foul.

However, that did not stop Beverley as he continued his antics by switching to Russell Westbrook’s signature rock the baby celebration. Despite being traded away, Beverley has stayed a Clipper at heart. Even after the Timberwolves’ first win over the Lakers, he said that LA is a Clippers town. Hence, it is clear where Beverley’s heart is.

With the game, the Timberwolves look to go 2-0 against the Lakers this season. Despite not having Anthony Edwards, Karl Anthony Towns is dominating the game. He has accumulated 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks at the half. D’Angelo Russell has added 11 points to the mix as well.

On the other hand, no Laker has crossed the double-digit mark yet. Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony are leading the scoring with 8 points each. LeBron James has taken just 5 shots so far scoring 7 points. Both teams are shooting poor from downtown, but the Wolves have kept their own in this game so far.
