WATCH: Dominik Mysterio Reps Nasty Elbows In Training Ahead Of WWE In-Ring Debut

WWE universe got a glimpse into Dominik Mysterio’s training regime just one day before his huge debut. WWE shared a video showing the young superstar training with his legendary father, Rey Mysterio, before Sunday.

The 23 Year Old is getting ready to face former world champion Seth Rollins in a gruesome street fight. The duo has been feuding for a couple of months now.

After Rollins’ attack, it is safe to assume that he is not letting Dominik win so early. In the recent video, we see Dominik and Rey training in what seems to be their home gym.

Dominik talks about how Rey made his WWE pay-per-view debut at SummerSlam against Kurt Angle. This was more than 18 years ago. Now, he is making his in-ring debut at the same event.

Rey responded, “You should feel ready, and it’s good to feel nervous, it’s good. I know you’re going to kill it, I know you’re going to kick some ass.”

The clip later shows Dominik delivering a 619 to another man in a wrestling ring, and he says he is going to bring in the fight this SummerSlam

Is Dominik Going To Be Prince Mysterio?

Dominik is making his debut under his own name. However, Rey Mysterio has used a mask for most of his career, just like many other Mexican Lucha Libre wrestlers.

While the world witnessed younger Mysterio’s face, his father would like nothing more than to give him a mask soon.

“We actually talked about it,” Mysterio told Sports Illustrated. “He definitely has to continue with the Mysterio dynasty. It’s in his genes.”

Mysterio reportedly has copyrighted the “Prince Mysterio” name. Interestingly, Rey Mysterio received his name and identity from his uncle as a part of the Lucha wrestling tradition. Now Rey has a chance to pass down the same to his son.

For now, Dominik will face Seth Rollins in a brutal street fight to settle all the bad blood at SummerSlam. The pay-per-view will stream live on WWE Network on August 23. It will be the first pay-per-view to be hosted in WWE ThunderDome.
