The glitch in question occurs around 6-8 hours into the campaign gameplay during a mission interestingly called ‘404’. It causes the game to freeze at this point and then the console to shut down.

Ubisoft will be issuing the fix for the Xbox One X version of Watch Dogs: Legions a day after its release

Devs at Ubisoft have already addressed this issue. In an official statement, they said that they are currently working to provide a fix for this game. However, they will not be able to provide a hotfix prior to the official release. But they have confirmed that the fix will be available for the Xbox One X build of the game on the 30th of this month.

Players on other platforms have been experiencing some minor issues in their builds as well, but devs have not addressed those issues yet. Perhaps they will fix those in a later update.
