South African cricketer David Miller showed his capabilities to the Australian crowd in his early days in the Big Bash League (BBL).
Miller hit a Harry Gurney slower ball out of the park in the 17th over of the match between Melbourne Renegades and Hobart Hurricanes on Tuesday.
Miller came into crease with the Hurricanes team requiring 49 runs to win the game. Miller had come in just after a 74-run stand between D’Arcy Short and Ben McDermott, and had to ensure that the wickets did not go down in a heap. With an innings of 25 runs off 25 balls, Miller ensured that his team went past the finishing line.
