Day two of the pre-season test is well underway and still no sign of Williams. However, the other 9 teams are still providing plenty of on-track action. On day one, several drivers were still a little rusty. This was evidenced by spins from Kimi Raikkonen, Sebastian Vettel and Romain Grosjean. Fortunately, they shrugged it off and Vettel went on to top the session. Day 2 proved to be just as action packed, courtesy, Daniel Ricciardo.

The Australian driver’s DRS failed spectacularly on the main straight. As he activated it, it broke right off and sent the helpless driver into an uncontrollable spin. While Daniel Ricciardo didn’t clatter the barriers, he was still stuck in the gravel trap. With this dramatic incident, it is likely back to the drawing board for Renault.
