Chris Jordan lived up to his reputation of being one of the most athletic fielders around. He might not have one of the biggest portfolio of catches to display at international level, but when considering his fantastic grabs in T20 leagues across the world, his collection of catches contains one of the mos watchable ones.
He added one more equally eye-catching, if not more, catch to the collection on Saturday playing in the 2019-20 Big Bash League (BBL).
With just over three overs to go in what was turning out to be a close contest, Jordan’s flying effort to dismiss Dan Christian early turned the match between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Renegades significantly in favour of his team.

Immediately after taking the catch, Jordan found himself taking a wicket with the ball in hand. The Renegades eventually found themselves 11 runs short of the target. Mitchell Marsh was adjudged the man of the match for his half century innings at a strike rate of over 250. Jordan’s catch came at a significant moment in the match as the Scorchers open their account in the new BBL season.
Here’s a few reactions for the catch from twitter users-
